Job Description:
As a Transportation Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across our transportation and logistics network. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a passion for building partnerships and delivering value-driven logistics solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and secure new transportation customers.
- Manage a sales pipeline and maintain consistent follow-up with clients.
- Develop tailored logistics solutions and pricing strategies to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service execution.
- Track key performance metrics and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent our company professionally with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience and Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics sales (truckload, LTL, or brokerage).
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to exceed goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience selling 3PL or freight brokerage services preferred.
- Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets preferred.
