Description:
We are looking for a HVAC Controls Project Manager. As a Controls Project Manager you would be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and be directly responsible for meeting quality standards, schedule, completion, and financial outcome of each project. The Controls Project Manager will drive the engineering and field teams through all phases of a project and will be the main point of contact to the customer.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- High level of focus on Safety and use of Personal Protective Equipment on all Sites inclusive of ensuring any employee or subcontractor follows safety procedures.
- Integrity focused by doing the right thing in any situation.
- Being proactive in Communication both internal and external
- Development of project execution plan
- Schedules project resources, costs, and procurement of materials.
- Generates and submits progress bills and peruses timely payments from customers.
- Communicate project status to customer and management team on a regular basis.
- Provide direction to subcontractors, technicians, & engineering team.
- Jobsite communication and coordination with other trades.
- Write and Download controller software as needed.
- Ensure programming and commissioning get completed per design on schedule.
- Perform customer training as needed.
- Respond to warranty calls.
- Pursue Change Orders when practical
- Complete administrative tasks such as project documentation, weekly timesheet, expenditures, & vehicle maintenance on time.
- Proficient with HVAC Systems, Electrical understanding, & ability to interpret construction drawings.
- Participates in job take-offs and estimate reviews as required.
- Other duties as required by management.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in related field or 6 years of direct field experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Can pass pre-employment drug screening
