Job Description: 
The Commercial HVAC Service Technician will maintain and develop existing customer relationships through quality service and support. A lucrative sign-on bonus may be offered to exceptionally qualified and highly experienced candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • On-site start-up technician
  • Troubleshoot installation of control systems
  • Solving issues using reasoning, logic, and voltmeter
  • Communication with individuals who installed the system
  • Communication with manufacturers
  • Assist the owner’s representatives to demonstrate that the system has been set up properly
  • Documentation of actions taken on the jobsite to be included with project report
  • Direct discussions with building owners to assist with ongoing maintenance and service
  • Perform work on preventative maintenance agreements as assigned

Experience and Requirements: 
  • Associate’s degree in HVAC related field or 3 years equivalent experience
  • Self-starter, high level of initiative, proven proactive behavior
  • Commitment to customer service (internal and external
  • Perform quality work, highly detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without direct supervision
  • Interact professionally with employees, customers, and manufacturers
  • Ability to operate under pressure, deadlines, and the demands of an active jobsite
  • Proven technical aptitude and familiarity with the use of a voltmeter
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate MMS Core Values: driven and self-motivated, can-do attitude, team player, customer driven, do what’s right and accountable
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Position will travel to customer sites
  • Majority of work to be completed on rooftop unit
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
