Description:

The Service Sales position will work with the Service & Equipment Sales Department and key manufacturers represented by ETS and is a pivotal role in securing new service business untapped markets and strategically building customer relationships for Energy Transfer Solutions. The goal is to drive revenue growth in HVAC service business by proactively identifying high-potential customers, solving pain points, and executing a repeatable, measurable system for market penetration.

Sales Territory: The primary territory responsibility will be Central and Western  (Pittsburgh PA)  and surrounding areas pursuing HVAC service agreements and equipment repair and/or replacement opportunities.  The territory will include both named and open accounts.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for territory and customer account list – Expert knowledge of territory, accounts (end users), and building management companies established in the area. 
  • Primary sales focus will be to acquire new service agreement customers.  Will also manage existing business relationships with building owners and property management companies in order to pursue upgrades and replacement product opportunities.
  • The ability to effectively manage ongoing service agreements and service projects that include both products and services in a profitable and efficient manner is essential.
  • Creates plans to Manage and Grow account base through expanded service agreement sales opportunities, equipment replacements, upgrades, and retrofits.
  • Ability to identify and review existing Mechanical systems, including but not limited to: Roof top commercial air systems, VRF systems, Chillers, and Cooling Towers.
  • Generates proposals and determines pricing to review with customers.
  • Enters new orders and service agreements in ETS order entry system.
  • Attends required training program for sales personnel to become proficient in selling all offered services.
  • Responsible for reaching all established sales quotas on an annual basis.
  • Attends Sales Team review meetings.
Experience and Requirements:
  • 2-year Associates or College Degree
  • 3-5 years of commercial industry service sales experience and/or technical experience
  • Knowledge and experience with installation and application of mechanical systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • When on job sites must be able to do the following:
    • Climbing – ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
    • Balancing – may be required to maintain equilibrium on unsteady surfaces
    • Stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling to reach equipment
    • Pushing, pulling and lifting components or equipment
    • May be required to work in all weather conditions
    • May be exposed to different atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, gases, etc.
    • May be working in close quarters such as crawl spaces or small enclosures
  • Must be able occasionally to lift up to 50 pounds.
